PlN 11

In Karl Fisch’s 2020 Vision it talks about how school will change drastically in our lifetime. The video talks about how school started using computer laptops in 2007 and then we started to communicate around the world with laptops. Next it states we won’t have classes and we will be learning directly from Google. This matters because it is a whole new form of learning that none of us have been through before and it could not all form to our liking. Sure it would be nice not having set classes anymore, but what if we didn’t learn that way and we couldn’t comprehend what the computer was saying. I wondered what if Google does open a free university though would kids try as hard in school knowing they have an easy outlet. I have focused on the bad so far but imagine the good, what if there was a free college, free computers to help learn, and different ways of learning. It would revolutionize school and education as we know it. If Google is this great philosopher and opens a university and revolutionizes learning would it be good or bad?
