In Karlo Mikhail Mongaya’s Phillipines: Dancing Flight Attendents talks about how female dancing flight attendants demonstrate how to execute emergency procedures. This one video has had millions of views on the internet, and many people love the video. Why all of this matters is because some believe that it is sexist having female flight attendants dancing for the safety video, and for the long term affect many believe it will be negative. They think it will be negative because more people will view it as sexist than entertaining because it is using women in subjective ways. If I were the airline I never would have done this because I would think over the years it would negatively affect me and the airline. The airline is just trying to entertain their passengers but if it is being sexist it could come back to haunt them.
